We are looking for someone to join the Council on a 2 year fixed term contract at an exciting time as we are transforming the way we deliver our services to our customers through our Customer First project. This is a radical transformation programme which will make more services available online so residents and businesses can access them at times convenient to them and at much less cost to the Council, enabling us to focus on those who may need more support.
The Customer First initiative will involve the transformation of the whole organisation, including organisational structure, ways of working, behaviours and culture, to a new operating model, underpinned by significant investment in new technology and a renewed focus on the customer experience. This will ensure that our residents and businesses can access services in a way which is convenient for them. Wherever possible, their queries will be resolved at the first point of contact and our internal processes will be even more efficient and cost effective, generating substantial savings.
This role is based at our offices in Oxted. Reporting to the Programme Manager and working closely with the other workstream leads, you will be responsible as the Technology Implementation Manager for leading the Technology Implementation Team as they develop solutions that underpin the Customer First Transformation Programme. This will include planning, resource management, assigning work and managing the overall delivery through to the point of testing and delivery into the live environment.
