But if you have the gold thread needed to connect our services and communities, you could be ideal for this role. As Strategic Director you will be cut out to make your mark in our Corporate Management Team and will champion excellence in everything we do. You will also provide leadership and support to three heads of service who manage high profile front-line services. In this influential role you will meet the needs of residents and communities by identifying opportunities for partnerships, creating new relationships and developing innovative ways of working. You should be able to demonstrate a solid track record of success as a senior manager at a strategic level. It is also important that you bring strong and supportive leadership skills into the culture and create a positive and results orientated organisation. A strong level of political awareness, effective influencing and negotiating skills, proven project management skills and resourcefulness will all be key to success.
