Role Description:
Our Children\‘s Service provides a varied range of care and special education to some of our most vulnerable residents. As an experienced member of the West Business Support team, you\’ll work with senior colleagues supporting specific aspects of the service. This will involve complex and confidential work and requires a wide range of proven administrative experience.
Every day will bring a different challenge in this varied and interesting role. The role includes organising meetings, maintaining filing systems, preparing correspondence, and overseeing the business systems in the teams. You will need to be highly organised, comfortable setting your own priorities and meeting tight deadlines. You will make sure that everything is in place to ensure that all runs smoothly for the teams and individuals we support.
A solid background in administration will have included supervising staff, dealing with the public and working at senior level in a busy office. Your sound grasp of Microsoft Office and ability to communicate at all levels will ideally be supported by the ECDL and NVQ level 3 in Administration, or be prepared to study for it.
