Fri 8.30-6

Thur 8.30-7
Fri 9-12
Sat 8.30-5
As well as replacing stock on the shelves and keeping the library in good order, the job involves using the library computer system to control the circulation of library stock. Good computer skills in packages such as MS office will be important, along with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards training and personal development from induction onwards.
You will need to have library experience, as the job requires the responsibility for offering information services and basic ICT support to library users; supervising and training other staff; and on occasion to be responsible for building security.
With Godalming Library open 55 hrs per week, staff may be asked to change work patterns to cover for sickness etc, so you will also need a flexible approach. Literate, numerate and able to work under pressure, you must also be a good team player and, above all, committed to delivering high quality customer care.
