Working within the frontline Social Care team based in Epsom, you’ll be at the forefront of developing and delivering person-centred, flexible and innovative social care services for older people and people with physical and sensory needs.
We’re strongly committed to empowering service users and involving them in planning their own care, and you will bring our vision to life as you put in place the frameworks and arrangements that will impact enormously on everyone’s quality of life. In particular, you will manage a very complex caseload, set the highest standards of professional practice and supervise junior colleagues, therefore every day will bring new challenges.
A state-registered and qualified social worker, occupational therapist or nurse, you will bring sound practical experience as a care manager and real passion for making a difference. Familiarity with all aspects of social care, including diverse needs, social services, care in the community, staff development and relevant legislation, is essential, and you will share our deep commitment to enabling people to remain at home.
