Working alongside parents in an administrative capacity, along with schools and other professionals, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs.
Taking casework responsibility for individual children, you will be using your good communication skills and ability to build positive relationships in order to work alongside colleagues, schools, social care and parents ensuring that children’s special educational needs are met.
Working to tight deadlines, with sometimes challenging parents and conveying difficult decisions whilst maintaining a sympathetic yet authoritative manner, this role will require you to use your initiative, enthusiasm and flexibility as you become part of our skilled team, dedicated to providing excellent levels of service.
With a good level of education and computer literacy, you will be using your experience of complex administrative systems to quickly and efficiently prioritise work. Capable of working well as part of a team, handling potentially difficult situations sensitively and picking up new skills quickly, you will be responsible for making a real difference to the lives of children with special educational needs.
