Recycling Promoters

Guildford

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Guildford for enthusiastic individuals to promote recycling services within the borough. Enventure is looking to recruit a team of eight consisting of two Team Leaders and six Recycling Promoters.

These positions provide a great opportunity for motivated candidates with an interest in recycling and environmental issues, understand the importance of, and have great customer service skills, and who are looking for a challenge.

The project aims to raise awareness and understanding of the current recycling service, through face-to-face interaction with residents and answering their questions about the scheme in order to motivate them to recycle.

The positions will start on Friday 1 October and run for four weeks until 30 October. Promoters will be required to work 32 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday. Full training will be provided on Thursday 30 September. Pay is £7.25 per hour for Recycling promoters and £8.25 per hour for Team Leaders.
