Role Description:
Our Children’s Service is on the look out for tenacious and resilient social workers.

As an experienced social worker you will have knowledge of current research and legislation and will have recently worked to deliver statutory frontline social care provision within a Children’s environment.

Our work to safeguard children under the Child Protection or Court Frameworks requires skilled and analytical communicators who are able to convey difficult information in clear terms to families, or describe complex cases and care plans succinctly in written form.

The post requires you to demonstrate a level of substantial experience working within a statutory frontline team, and you must hold:

  • Hold a Social Work qualification
  • Be GSCC registered
  • Hold a valid UK drivers licence and have access to a vehicle
