As a vital member of the Drainage Asset Team within Highways, Operations and Countryside, you will be working closely with various Project Managers and Senior Asset Project Technicians, enabling and assisting them to determine potentially new areas of Asset Management, and to assist in the delivery of practical solutions on the ground, and on a daily basis.
The challenge here for you is to assist on various and diverse projects and programmes, helping others to determine the most effective course of action in relation to Asset Management. As mentioned, the projects will be varied, and you will often be working with plenty of different people, both internally and externally.
You will have previously worked in a project team environment – ideally in this industry – and you should be able to demonstrate some experience working with a large volume of varied data.
As you will be working on multiple programmes, you will need to be methodical and highly organised, and as you will be working with many other individuals, excellent reporting and communication skills will be crucial to your success in this role.
In line with the County Council\’s policies, Surrey County Council employees who are vulnerable to redundancy and meet the essential criteria for the post will be given priority in the selection process
