In our Resource Centre for older people with mental health problems, we encourage our residents and day care users to participate in the matters that affect them so that they can lead active, dignified lives within a secure and responsive environment. Creating the home-like atmosphere in which we pride ourselves depends greatly on all the people who work in our staff teams.

You would work as part of one of those teams to help residents achieve their full potential, using the everyday life skills that you already have and which you can put to good use regardless of your age or background.

We provide a high standard of care for our residents and day centre clients ensuring that they lead active and dignified lives in a friendly home environment.

Later this year we will be moving to a brand new site which is situated just off the Leatherhead road in Chessington.

Personal Assistant to Principle Resource Centre Manager

(This post is currently based at Hollyfield Road in Surbiton)

Working with the Principle Manager Resource Centres for Older People.

To provide a thorough and effective and efficient administrative, clerical, secretarial and organisational support.

You will need to be proficient in Word and Excel and have the ability to produce statistics.

Previous experience of working in a busy office and word processing skills of 60/70 wpm.

You need to have a flexible approach excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work independently.
In return you will receive full training and have a supportive working environment.

You would also need a sense of humour, real flexibility and ensure strict confidentiality be maintained at all times.
