This is an exciting opportunity based within the Leisure and Cultural Services Division to provide control and management of grounds maintenance and other contracts as a Client Officer for the Authority. We have just been awarded two Gold Awards and Best Regional Large Park Winner in the South and South East in Bloom Competition and are passionate about providing high quality parks, recreation grounds and green space provision for the community.
We require a committed person to supervise and manage existing and future contracts. You will work as part of a team to monitor contracts, preparatory works for new contracts encompassing “Value for Money” and additional landscaping, infrastructure improvements and environmental schemes to enhance the Borough.
You will be flexible in your approach to the job, be able to use your initiative, communicate easily with people and work in partnership with contractors.
The Parks Development Officer will be required to take an active role within a multi disciplined Division which will provide an avenue to develop management skills in the wider aspects of leisure facilities.
