You will work in a friendly and supportive team of Occupational Therapists, liaising closely with hospital OT’s, care managers, grants officers, housing technical support services and external agencies. We want to stay user focused, and to provide a high quality responsive service. We are looking for a committed OT to undertake functional assessments with disabled adult’s people of all ages. You will need to assess the needs of service users with complex requirements, identifying and planning for long-term need, prescribing equipment and recommending DFGs
You will need to hold a Diploma or Degree in OT, have current registration with the HPC, be flexible, hard working, have a sound clinical practice standards and a good understanding of the legislative framework.
Ideally, you will also have social services experience, although this is not essential, and you will be offered good supervision and training, to build on and enhance your practice. Salary will be dependent on experience.
