We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our busy, friendly, team based in the centre of Kingston providing occupational therapy services for older and disabled people to ensure they are enabled to live as independently as possible in the community.
The team focuses on a quick response to: risk situations, hospital discharges and palliative care, most of our work involves short term intervention.
You will need:
• Assessment skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of disability equipment.
• Ability to deal with challenging situations.
• Knowledge or interest in developing skills in the field of moving and handling.
• Communication and organisational skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Experience of working with older or disabled people.
There are opportunities to develop supervisory skills along with good opportunities for personal training and development.
We offer good working conditions and some flexibility with hours.
You will be required to have use of a car for business purposes for which an essential allowance is payable.
