Salary:£24,166 Per Annum (JNC Level 2C) (Additional area allowance of £740 per year)

Location:Spelthorne 

We are looking for a full-time, JNC professionally qualified Youth Workers who is creative and innovative, to continue to address the needs of young people in the Staines and Stanwell area, and to build on the excellent work that has already been done by the previous post holder in this area.

Either a Degree, Post Graduate Certificate or MA in Youth Work is essential.

Able and willing to work 4 evenings per week, some weekends and school holidays as part of your contracted hours.

If you have a track record of working in challenging and demanding environments, with the ability to design and deliver a quality youth work provision for the young communities based on their identified needs, then this could be the job for you.

Able to work effectively alone and manage a team of part time youth workers. Also to foster partnerships with local agencies, voluntary organisations and individuals and elected members, you will support young people across the Borough of Spelthorne.

The ability to travel around the county is essential

An enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure and POCA check will be required for this role.
