We are looking for someone with experience of providing support to adults with learning disabilities to join our proactive staff team within a busy house.

The service meets the needs of a diverse range of people providing short term residential respite for up to 6 service users living with their carers. The benefits of respite to carers can mean placements in the community are sustained. The benefit to the service user is to develop networks and relationships outside the family home.

The role provides hands on support to service users’ to build independence, skills in daily living, decision making and confidence. We aim to create an environment where service users’ skills are recognised and developed.

This role is being advertised for male support staff only due to an increase in the numbers of male service users.
