We are looking for someone to join our team to liaise and work in conjunction with the Council’s partners to assist in the delivery of the Council’s key priorities and projects.
Fundamentally, the role will involve preparing an Infrastructure Delivery Plan that can be used to draw up a revised Community Infrastructure Levy Charging Schedule and Regulation 123 List. The role will also assist in the delivery of key infrastructure required within the District through coordinating and communicating with the service providers and key consultees. The role will work closely with our Community Infrastructure Officer who is responsible for administrating and monitoring the Community Infrastructure Levy, as well as with internal departments to determine the infrastructure requirements in line with the Council’s strategies, objectives and vision.
The role will ensure, in liaison with the Local Plan Manager that the Plan reflects the outcomes of the Duty to Cooperate and all other wider strategic issues.
You will be joining the Council at an exciting time as we are transforming the way we deliver our services to our customers through our Customer First project. This is a radical transformation programme which will make more services available online so residents and businesses can access them at times convenient to them and at much less cost to the Council, enabling us to focus on those who may need more support.
