Homelink, the Council’s in-house Home Improvement Agency is working in partnership with Surrey County Council and Runnymede Council on an exciting project to extend the services offered to residents living in the boroughs of Woking and Runnymede with help to live at home.

Working mainly with older people, people with a disability and vulnerable families the following positions are part of a successful and busy team which helps to organise access to support services and building work (major and minor repairs or adaptations) so that people can maintain their independence at home in reasonable security and comfort.

A suitably qualified person is required to assist in the provision of general, financial and practical assistance, and support to older or disabled persons or other vulnerable individuals from ethnic minority communities who wish to repair, improve or adapt their homes

The successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellent communications skills and commitment to excellent customer service. Specific skills required vary from post to post. Further details and person specifications are contained in the Job Pack.
