Epsom & Ewell Council’s Contact Centre prides itself in providing an efficient and high quality single point of contact and solution for its customers.
Our Customer Contact Team handle a wide variety of incoming calls – one minute you might be dealing with refuse and recycling queries, and the next you might be helping to reunite a dog with its owner. It will be your friendly customer service and listening skills, and your ability to use your initiative that will ensure that you find excellent solutions to customer queries.
It can be quite busy at times, so you need to be happy to work closely within the team. You will be confident in using the phones most of the time as well as some administrative tasks and occasionally manning the main reception desk, so the day is certainly never dull.
Contact centre experience is essential and you must be able to demonstrate a strong desire to deliver amazing customer service, have a clear friendly telephone manner and have good computer, telephony and typing skills.
The hours are 36 per week worked on a rotational basis between 08:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday.
