Could you represent Surrey Probation Area in a Court setting? You will be needed to present reports, track and monitor cases and prosecute offenders who breach their community sentences.
Responsible for preparing case papers and acting as a prosecutor for the Service in the Magistrates Courts, you will interview offenders, provide a professional service to the courts and liaise with other agencies.
With an excellent understanding of woking within a court setting and of the probation service, you will have a professional and efficient approach and be confident and well presented, with the ability to effectively organise and manage information. Good accurate computer and administrative skills are essential, as are exceptional presentation skills. Sound knowledge of relevant criminal law plus the ability to write reports and communicate with people at all levels are also essential.
