South East Training Consortium

The Consortium represents the five Probation Areas of Hampshire, Kent, Surrey, Sussex and Thames Valley. We work with them to recruit Trainee Probation Officers, deliver the Diploma in Probation Studies along with other regional training and developmental initiatives including Accredited Programmes, PSO Induction and NVQ’s. We are seeking a:

Consortium Coordinator – 12 month contract

The Consortium Co-ordinators play a vital role within the team. The role requires initiative, good project management skills and the ability to work under pressure against competing demands. While the co-ordinators work closely together, and are required to cover for each other, they each hold a responsibility for specific aspects of Consortium business.

As part of the role the successful applicant will be required to:

Administer, support and monitor training programmes relating to the Accredited Programmes. Also provide administrative support to the Director when required.

Develop and maintain a range of databases and system processes.

Maintain and develop professional relationships with Probation Area, Consortia, partnership agencies and NOMS / Ministry of Justice colleagues.

We are looking for an innovative problem solver with experience of administration, who, working with the other co-ordinators will act as a focal point for our customers using their excellent communication skills.
