Location:Rentwood, School Lane, Fetcham, Leatherhead 

You will be part of a dynamic and forward thinking team, working closely with Deaf people in Surrey. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, engages positively with our clients and partner organisations and understands the importance of confidentiality and trust.

This role involves direct community support work, assessing client’s eligibility to a service, co-ordinating packages of support, whilst also managing a caseload. You will be providing our customers with advice and information, guidance, support and signposting where relevant. An up-to-date knowledge of the Deaf community is essential.

We work with both children and adults and their families. This role will also include working closely with the qualified social workers. You will be forward thinking, able to work on your own initiative and also as part of a team.

This is an exciting opportunity and applications from Deaf people are encouraged. Surrey County Council have a number of training courses that can be considered, if you were successful for this post.

An enhanced Criminal Records disclosure and Adults Barred list and Childrens Barred list checks will be required for this role.
