Civil Enforcement Officer

Employer:Reigate & Banstead Borough Council

Salary:£16,446 - £16,866 pa (with possible progression through performance to £17,712) plus a market supplement of £2,100 pa.  

Hours:36hrs per week/ 4 days per week (between 8am to 6.30pm on a 4 week rota Monday to Saturday) 

Working pattern:Full Time, Permanent position 

Location:All areas within Reigate and Banstead.

We need you to work as part of a team, have relevant up to date customer care skills, be able to work on your own initiative and be calm & confident in dealing with the public. Previous parking enforcement experience or relevant on street experience in a similar role is preferred. However, we would consider applicants with experience within a demanding customer care role. You will be working in all weathers patrolling both on & off-street parking restrictions, in all areas of the Borough covering duties that include checking pay and display equipment, lifts and security cameras. Full training will be provided in the use of hand held computer & note taking. A full driving licence is essential. Employment with the Council will also be subject to enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) clearance.
