We are looking for people to join our team of play rangers facilitating and promoting inclusive play opportunities for children at a range of venues across the Borough, including outdoors in parks and open spaces.

Our aim is to raise the profile of play in the community through outreach work, advocating children’s right to play effectively and creatively and increasing the number of children accessing community parks and open spaces and in particular, the number of disabled and disadvantaged children accessing play opportunities.

We need people who are able to recognise and create activities which are appropriate to children and young people of different ages and needs and can successfully engage them in those activities. Therefore experience and/or qualifications in childcare or play work are highly desirable.

We welcome applications from people who are able to work term time and/or school holidays and Saturdays, even if you only have a small number of hours available.
