We are currently looking for an Assistant Team Manager with significant experience in children’s frontline services to join our Child Protection team based in Reigate. Your experience will ideally be in Child Protection and Court Proceedings.
In addition to your knowledge of CP, you will need to have supervisory experience and be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of the assessment framework and care planning. You will need time management skills together with experience to enable you to work effectively and efficiently within the CP team.
You will assist the team manager, overseeing the running of this multi disciplinary team and will be required to provide supervision, professional guidance, advice and support to social workers, helping them develop and ensuring that best professional practice and performance management standards are maintained within the team and across the service.
You will be committed to the development of multi agency working with experience of working in disability.

£36,615 per annum (plus £1,500 per annum retention supplement and £1,500 frontline team supplement where appropriate) Management development and Support Training Opportunities with our STARS project
An enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure and POCA and POVA check will be required for this role. Whilst undertaking this role you will be required to undertake regular health assessments/surveillance.
You will need to have a full valid driving licence and use of a car for work.
