We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Asset Systems and Data Team Manager to join Surrey County Council’s Asset Planning Group within Operations, Highways and Countryside. You will play a crucial role in managing the identification, development and integration of all Data, Inventory and IT systems and processes within the Group.

Specifically your role will involve providing expert technical advice and ensuring that service specific systems meet user needs. Possessing excellent influencing skills, you will make use of innovative solutions to enable continuous improvement.

You will be responsible for managing a team budget of £270,000, a team of 8 staff and direct responsibility for the Group’s Data, Inventory and IT systems. You will also have a proven record of delivering excellent service to clients and customers

With a proven background in computer programming, database management and development of IT systems, you will also have an excellent understanding of the principles of Asst planning and management.
