Salary:£32,169 per annum (SP9) + £1500 per annum supplement

Location:Guildford, Surrey 

Responsible for a complex caseload of clients with severe and enduring mental health problems, you’ll assess the social care needs of individuals and deliver comprehensive care plans to meet their specific needs and constraints. Developing a clear and co-ordinated system, you’ll undertake direct social work intervention with both users and carers and ensure all those involved appropriately and effectively carry out all services. Contributing to the training and professional development of staff, students and volunteers, you’ll also undertake your own personal training in order to maintain up-to-date knowledge of mental health issues.

To join us, you should have a Social Work Qualification, Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) status, advanced mental health training and substantial post qualifying experience that should include direct work with those who have mental health problems. In addition to this, you should have a working knowledge of legislation, assessments, preparation of care plans, monitoring and reviewing outcomes.

An enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure check will be required for this role.
