Waverley employs almost 450 people to advise the council, carry out policies and administer various services throughout the borough. Approximately 350 people are based in the central office at Godalming with the remainder working in locations around the borough.
Staff development
Waverley is committed to developing all staff. Each department has a training budget and there is a central budget to support corporate initiatives. Waverley has recently supported staff to train as a Building Control Officer, Accountant and to complete qualifications eg the IT qualification European Driving Licence, NVQ in administration.
